Resizing IBPS application form signature file

I was facing trouble in resizing signature file for uploading at IBPS online application form. According to IBPS (Indian Banking Personnel Selection) guideline signature file should be between 10KB-20KB and it’s dimension should be (140 x 60)px in jpeg/jpg image format.

But my scanned signature file was always around 5 KB. I tried many tricks and softwares (Photoshop, Irfanview,…. and even MS Paint) but nothing was working and wasted about 3 hours.

Finally I did it by increasing brightness in Photoshop (Image > Adjustment > Contrast/Brightness).

It is not a big trick but if you are novice like me and don’t know even P of Photoshop, then this may be helpful for you.
